1. Mr. Bibhas Chandra Das (Manager Sales, LIC of India)
For the past 31 years, Mr Bibhas Chandra Das has worked full-time in the insurance industry,
where he has gained experience in marketing and acquiring new customers. He has held
various mid- and senior-level executive positions and won many honours. And I'm honoured
to call him my father. Mr Bibhas Chandra Das currently oversees 40+ branches as the sales
manager for the South Kolkata area. He is knowledgeable about the past and present of the
insurance industry and would be a great speaker for the IIM Shillong students.
2. Mrs. Malabika Saha (Lawyer, Practising in Kolkata High court)
Mrs Malabika Saha has 16 years of extensive expertise working on the Kolkata high court and
three years in the Bombay high court. She had handled the cases of some of West Bengal's
most prominent politicians, business leaders, and celebrities. She is still working for the
Kolkata High Court as an appeals lawyer and petitioner. Since all businesses are currently
placing a greater emphasis on security, IIM Shillong might benefit significantly from her
unparalleled expertise in security and compliance.
3. Mr. Saurav Pandey (Working as a senior project manager in Infosys)
Mr Saurav Pandey has 18 years of substantial expertise working in the IT industry. He has
held numerous mid-level and senior-level managerial jobs in addition to working at the
ground level. He is currently employed by Infosys as a senior project manager. Mr Saurav has
in-depth knowledge of the IT sector as well as the projects' fast-paced and safe-agile nature.
As an incoming PPC member of IIM Shillong, I don't see any reason why we shouldn't take
benefit of Mr Saurav's expertise and experience in the field of IT analytics and Prodman.
4. Mr. Manas Mati (Managing Director, ExpressPlay at Intertrust Technologies Corporation)
Mr Manas is an alumnus of IIT Kharagpur. He was in charge of market development, pricing,
customer profitability, and yield management tasks for eastbound trade from the Indian
subcontinent at his first employment. After earning his MBA from Nanyang Technological
University, he worked for five years as an executive director and head of technology at Walt
Disney before joining the company as director of media technology and applications for the
Asia Pacific region. He is currently employed as the MD of Intertrust Technologies and also
serves as the Co-Founder and Advisor of Tessact, a video collaboration platform. Mr Manas
had 20 years of experience in executive-level management, and his expertise might be a
valuable resource for IIM Shillong.
5. Prof. Keka Sarkar (Dean of Science, Dean of Engineering and Management, University of
Kalyani)
Professor of Microbiology at the University of Kalyani, Dr Keka Sarkar. She has 15 years of
substantial expertise in research and teaching. She currently holds the offices of HOD, Dean
of Science, Dean of Engineering, and Dean of Management in the college administration at
the University of Kalyani. Her expertise in time and task management may prove to be a
valuable skill for IIM Shillong students.
6. Mr. Pranab Bhattacharjee (Scientist, BARC)
Mr Pranab Bhattacharjee is a scientist from BARC. Having a working experience of 18 years,
he joined BARC as a scientific officer G. Currently, he is managing different sensitive
projects and is extensively working in the financing of the projects with the risk mitigation for
the Indian government in VECC. His unparalleled knowledge of risk mitigation, financing
and scientific research should be a valuable asset for the students of IIM Shillong.
7. Mr. Sushobhan Sarker (Managing Director, LICI (Retd.))
Mr Sushobhan has got an extensive experience in executive and mid-management positions in
LIC of India. He has served as the Executive Director of Investment, Director & CEO of LIC
MF Asset Management Co. & Ltd. He served as Executive Director in International

Operations for LIC, and also took over the responsibility of Managing Director of LIC. After
his retirement from LIC, he was termed as a Director at National Insurance Academy for four
years. During his work years, he also completed his master’s in financial management from
JBIMS and was granted Fellowship by the Financial Institute of India (FIII). His extensive
knowledge in the field of finance will help the students of IIM Shillong to crack their dream
jobs in top-tier financial companies.
8. Mr. Atanu Mondal (Branch Manager, IDBI Bank Uttarpara)
Mr Atanu Mondal is from the new generation of Bankers and has got an extensive work
experience in mid-level management for the past 13 years in IDBI bank. He had worked in
LIC two years earlier. It would be valuable knowledge from Atanu about mid-level
management and knowing the clients from the ground level.
9. Mr. Tribhuwan Adhikary (Regional Manager Marketing, LICI Eastern Zonal Office Kolkata)

Mr Tribhuwan has an extensive experience of 33 years in mid and executive-level
management. He has worked on ground level and interacted with clients. His area of expertise
is insurance and with 20 years of experience in marketing. He had worked with industry
stalwarts and grabbed multiple awards in the insurance industry. Because of his work in
finance and marketing, he is a valuable asset and hence this should be a great opportunity for
the students of IIM Shillong to receive their knowledge.
10. Mr. Debashish Mondal (Retd. Editor in Thoughts, Delhi)
Mr Debashish had got extensive knowledge in the field of editing newspapers. He has got a
double MA in History and English. He has got an extensive teaching experience of 39 years.
After his retirement, he worked as an editor for the Thoughts newspaper and magazine, Delhi.
Even currently at the age of 89 years he is still learning and continuing his research on
multiple domains. Author of 3 books and counting, he is a valuable person for IIM Shillong
with his oratory skills and perfect nature, he can help the students of IIM Shillong to get
placed in their dream companies.
