 GFIC provides financial services to Oracle subsidiaries in different countries to Oracle’s suppliers and
customers from Bangalore, India.
This process is an intermediary between Sales, Contracts Administration and Accounts Receivable team.
Key deliverable is to process transactions and booking the customer software orders with accuracy which in
turn recognizes the revenue.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Order Management is an integral part of the Order to Cash (O2C) process wherein the customer’s
order for Software Licenses and Support is booked in Oracle R12 Application. Only after the order is
booked, the invoices will get generated
• Requisition and fulfillment: Receiving the customer requirements from the sales and advising them to
submit all the required documents for booking
• To Analyze and validate the Customer Ordering Documents, Purchase Orders and other approvals and
make sure that they follow all the legal requirements
• Responsible for validation and entry of Oracle License Contracts
• Identify Contract Management issues and proposes solutions for approval
• Handling queries from requestor via call & e-mail
• Researches and respond to internal or external inquiries
• Booking the software license orders which are submitted by sales and deal management group
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPERTISE:
• Assigning the workloads to the team members, conduct audit for work done by a peer across all the
regions, consolidating audit results, analysing and reporting the same to the Management and also to
make sure the orders are error free
• SME for Submission and Booking team
• Handling entire team escalations and acted as a process lead in the team
• Training the new joiners in the process and to ensure updating of process documentation & training
materials
• Reconciling the customer data and updating the consultants with the same
• Active participation on all the client calls and interacting with them in fixing the issues
• Generation of various reports (process audits, productivity and efficiency, reconciliation of cancelled
orders, EOD reports) on a need basis which is then circulated to the internal as well as external stake
holders
• Expertise in the Complex Order booking which has high value deals with lot of visibility from clients
and management
• Handling all queries from Accounts Receivable Dept, Credits and collections Dept, Install Base
• Independently handling all global issues and supporting other team members across the region
• Always been a team player & ensured that I share work with my teammates when they are
overburdened
• Helped my teammates in solving complex issues to ensure that the team’s delivery on order is met

• Received best employee award (YAR – four times and R&R - twice) in my tenure

• Involved extensively in streamlining the process by means of conducting testing’s and simulations
• Within 3 months tenure in booking, got selected for Global Priority Team (GPT) for transaction
processing
