A 3rd line SCCM consultant, Lead Deployment Specialist and leader of a team of four deploying Microsoft Windows
7 and applications around France at the head office and three warehouse sites. Key tasks included:
The technical lead in charge of the deployment of Windows 7 to laptops and desktops in Paris and
the suburbs. Led a team of four working round-the-clock to deliver required quota of systems daily.
Troubleshooting and resolving Task Sequence, PXE, MDT, USMT and software update issues during
deployment and offering post-deployment aftercare support.
Successfully resolved a number of teething problems threatening the viability of the project and proved that
the project was feasible debunking the low expectations for success.

I completed course curriculum training in India for Microsoft MCITP-EA certification and achieved Cisco CCNA
certification. Various activities including voluntary work, consultancy, blogging, travelling and study.

administration, managing quality assurance for application packaging before acceptance into software deployment
cycle.

A hands-on technical specialist involved in an IP-renumbering project for migrating servers, services, applications and
related infrastructure into larger Air France – KLM IT infrastructure. I also provided backfill SCCM 2007 support for
software distribution and security updates.
My tasks included complete inventory documentation (technical, functional and organisational), risk and impact
analysis, detailing change and rollback scenarios, migration concerns and possible conflicts.

2. Sep 08 – Apr 09 Senior Consultant, a.i.
Achmea NV via Getronics NV (Insurance), The Netherlands
Designed, implemented and deployed an upgrade to Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) 2007
from Systems Management Server (SMS) 2003 to 25,000 clients.
Initiated and completed the installations and tests for 4 environments out of 6 including production and introduced
scripts and other ideas to improve administrative processes.
Integrated the desktop imaging process using MDT to offer ZTI deployments over SCCM.
Aug 06 – Aug 08 Software & Deployment Architect, a.i.,
Canon Europa NV via Centric NV (Electronic Goods), The Netherlands
Implemented the enterprise design of a centrally managed desktop environment (Sysprep & Microsoft SMS 2003),
application repackaging (Wise Package Studio/Orca/Scripting), software deployment strategy (Role-Based in Active
Directory) and application lifecycle management for Canon Europe across 20 countries.
Created one universal system image using SysPrep techniques, to deploy 48 different models and makes of laptops
and desktops; validated Windows Installer packaging standards for all deployments.

A knowledge-expert and technical mentor of the Software Distribution (SMS 2.0/2003) operations team serving six
different corporate clients around the Netherlands. This activity covered a client base of 50,000 users.

Engaged on this “contract-to-fix” project, successfully resolving long-running technical and resource issues arising
from the migration of a mature Active Directory Services software distribution process to a newly designed Microsoft

Developed and completed the framework and scheme for the application of Best Practice principles to the operations
infrastructure of the Software Distribution process in the organisation. This centred on application repackaging
standards and software installations using Microsoft Systems Management Server 2003.

The Technical Custodian of the design, standards, processes and implementation of Microsoft SMS 2003 in the
Netherlands, serving over 30,000 desktops. Managed the deployment of 1,300 software packages through a role-based
integration of SMS 2003 and Active Directory groups and oversaw the continuous operational improvement of
internal processes and controls through automation, change control and inter-departmental communication.
Apr 02 – Jul 04 Senior IT Technical Specialist, UPC Corp /UPC Holding Services BV
(Cable/Internet/Telephony), The Netherlands
The technical lead creating the framework, design and consequent implementation of the Software Control and
Deployment process for the organisation. Utilised Microsoft RIS to deploy a global standard Microsoft Windows XP
client, packaged applications to Microsoft Windows Installer (MSI) standard and managed the deployment
infrastructure with Microsoft SMS 2.0/2003.

Infonet Europe/ AUCS Communications Services (Telecoms), The Netherlands
Managed a multi-site Microsoft SMS infrastructure with Windows NT servers and Windows 95 clients. Then decision
mapped to implementation and deployment the management of Microsoft Windows 2000 professional clients using
the Altiris Express solutions framework.
On the advent of the many security issues that arose just before Code Red, was appointed Security Advisor to ensure
pro-active management of all our systems and platforms against vulnerabilities, intrusions, compromises and exploits.
Collapsed our master domain structure into a single domain Active Directory-ready structure, facilitating both a
domain and data consolidation of Microsoft Windows NT systems and services using many of the obscure resource
kit utilities.
