Research Problem statement
Raising competition from among the competitors and continuing development of innovative ways to
provide financial services are all contributing to a growing interest in evaluating the Auto Crop Care ltd’s
performance. Various groups of individuals are particularly interested in evaluating Auto Crop Care ltd’s
performance. This research is about evaluating the Auto Crop Care ltd’s customer satisfaction. This is a
research project where I shall be trying to evaluate the overall customer satisfaction of Auto Crop Care
ltd’s on the basis of some factors that helps to explore customer satisfaction. These factors are product
cost, product quality, delivery performance, supplier, time-to-market, service support, personal
interaction, and customer satisfaction. There are two main competitors currently facing Auto Crop Care
ltd are Syngenta Bangladesh Ltd and ACI formulation Ltd. At the moment, the advantage of Auto Crop
Care Ltd is experiencing is the generic nature of some Agro-Chemical Products. Through survey, the
most common finding was that when people generally visit outlet, most of them prefer Auto Crop Care
Ltd products for their good product quality and higher brand image in spite of Syngenta Bangladesh Ltd
and ACI formulation Ltd. has similar patent variety, and it’s providing numerous shades, because they
cannot maintain proper delivery.
Introduction
The main objective of this research paper is to explore and investigate the customer satisfaction level of
Agro-chemical Products of Auto Crop Care limited. Auto Crop Care limited, the market leader in the
Bangladesh Agro-chemical Products market, is one of the oldest names in the global Agro-chemical
Products industry. This Research paper will help the company to measure the present level of customer
satisfaction and loyalty in Auto Crop Care limited. This research investigates the factors that affect the
level of customer satisfaction among the users, and what are the different influencing them. It has been
used simple random sampling under the probability sampling method and used structured questionnaire
for collecting information. This research used Microsoft Excel to analyze data. Major findings shows that
customer of Auto Crop Care limited are mostly satisfied about perceived product quality, product
reliability, product durability, product availability & size, product innovativeness, product relationship
and delivery performance. In case of service quality and customer care service one – third respondents are
dissatisfied.
Bangladesh, one of the smallest countries (area 57 K sq. miles) in South-East Asia, has a predominantly
farming-based economy. A delta, historically originated through the sedimentation of the Bay of Bengal,
the country is blessed with highly fertile agricultural lands. However, due to very high population, the
nation has always been struggling against poverty and starvation. Bangladesh economy draws its main
strength from agriculture sector. The sector contributes 19.10%(at current prices) and employs about
51% of the labor force. Despite increase in the shares of fisheries, livestock, and forestry, crop sub-sector
alone accounts for 60.83% share of agricultural GDP (BBS, 2011).Agricultural land per capita is
decreasing over the years in Bangladesh. Agriculture and environment are closely interlinked.
Agricultural production system depends on the environment for utilization of land, rainfall, daylight
duration, insect pests and diseases. Pest problem is one of the major constraints for achieving higher
production in agriculture crops. Bangladesh loses about 30% of its crops due to pests and diseases each
year (BBS, 2011). So how do farmers control their insect pest problems? Farmers in Bangladesh depend
on synthetic insecticides because they are readily available, highly promoted, inexpensive, easy to apply
and quick acting. However, applied insecticides also kill non-target arthropods, typically insects involved
in pollination and predators such as spiders and ground beetles. Insecticide residues find their way into
watercourses, particularly in rice cultivation, and affect the water we drink and food we eat. Furthermore,
quite often the indiscriminate and unscientific use of pesticides has led to many problems, such as pests
developing resistance, resurgence of once minor pest into a major problem besides environmental and
food safety hazards.

Definition of Customer satisfaction
“Customer satisfaction is one of the most important issues concerning business

author and marketing consultant best known for his Wizard of Ads trilogy.
“The first step in exceeding your customer’s expectations is to know those expectations.” – Roy Hollister

However, due to very high population, the nation has always been struggling against poverty and starvation. Bangladesh economy draws its main strength from agriculture sector. The sector contributes 19.10%(at current prices) and employs about 51% of the labor force. Despite increase in the shares of fisheries, livestock, and forestry, crop sub-sector alone accounts for 60.83% share of agricultural GDP (BBS, 2011).Agricultural land per capita is decreasing over the years in Bangladesh. Agriculture and environment are closely interlinked. Agricultural production system depends on the environment for utilization of land, rainfall, daylight duration, insect pests and diseases. Pest problem is one of the major constraints for achieving higher production in agriculture crops. Bangladesh loses about 30% of its crops due to pests and diseases each year (BBS, 2011). So how do farmers control their insect pest problems? Farmers in Bangladesh depend on synthetic insecticides because they are readily available, highly promoted, inexpensive, easy to apply and quick acting. However, applied insecticides also kill non-target arthropods, typically insects involved in pollination and predators such as spiders and ground beetles. Insecticide residues find their way into watercourses, particularly in rice cultivation, and affect the water we drink and food we eat. Furthermore, quite often the indiscriminate and unscientific use of pesticides has led to many problems, such as pests developing resistance, resurgence of once minor pest into a major problem besides environmental and food safety hazards.
