OBJECTIVE
Climate change is the defining issue of my generation. The regional climate impacts facing California's hydrologic system will be the
focal issue in determining its future. As such, I want to be on the front lines of scientific inquiry, analysis, and communication about
this pivotal issue. My goal is to capitalize on my knowledge and passion for hydroclimatology to propel me into my professional career
as a climate change researcher, science communicator, and/or scientific adviser for management decisions. I want to help create a
sustainable future that is more scientifically informed and in which political decisions are made in cooperative understanding with
science, rather than today's conventional isolation.
