Grades and Participation
 Every discipline has individual exam and
participation grade, as well a team grade
 Late hand-ins will suffer a grade reduction
every 15 days
A= Excelent (10 to 9,0) B= Good ( 8,9 to 8,0)
C= Regular (7,9 to 7,0) D= Failed ( < 7,0 )
 You must be present in at least 50% of classes in each discipline; a
maximum of 15 minutes tolerance will be considered
 Absence excuses will be accepted only with medical notice (No
excuses will be granted due to professional reasons)
 Absences make-up will be established by the faculty, may include a
course project, and additional exam.
 Course RETAKE: Apply again to the course within 12 months. A tuition
charge applies of 5% of total program tuition for each local
disciplines, and 10% if international trip.

Code of Conduct
Exams and Individual Projects:
Take – home exams and projects must be done individually.
Students are free to consult with others, but are not allowed to use
other students’ material, which considered “cheating.”
Plagiarism:
Presenting someone's elses words or ideas as if they were your
own in projects, exams or papers is considered plagiarism.
Penalties:
Penalties for cheating or plagiarism are failing the discipline or
expulsion from the program, as determined by the Program
Director if a students breaches the code of conduct.
Recommendations for expulsion will be ratified by the Board of
Counselors of the International MBA .

Continuous improvement at
PROFUTURO-FIA MBAs
 We have practised continuous improvement
since the start of the first FIA Executive MBA in
1993, with excellent results. Our policy has been
to change around 10% every year.
 The first IMBA PT group started in 2008, and
graduated in March 2011. PT2 graduated in
March 2012. PT3 and PT4 will graduate in
March 2013; the feedback from these groups
has been taken into account.

Changes for 2013
1. We are reducing the number of 6 hour sessions with one teacher,
and beginning in more invited executive guest speakers and
leadership cases.
2. We are working to increase the use of your practical experience of 8
years in many interesting companies and business areas, and we
want to make better use of that with more group work on cases,
simulations and seminars presented by the students. ( Target: 40%
of class time )
3. The disciplines are now organized on a trimester basis and it will
have a clearer more compact syllabus, program and readings, with
faster feedback on students and professors..
4. Evaluation of each discipline will be with individual and/or group
work, and a participation grade, based on attendance and positive
contributions to in class discussions.
