2. Road CYCLIng
Road cycling is a big part
of my occupational
identity. I biked ever since
I was young with my
family, however I got into
cycling seriously when I
was 13 and started racing
competitively. I see road
cycling as a very important
occupation in my life as I
love sport and keeping fit
and healthy.

my occupational identity. I have
going camping at Totaranui the

family and family friends. It is a
tradition that we do every year
and has significant meaning to it
as it holds many good memories.

4. BAKING
Baking is an important
occupation to me. I have
always grown up surrounded
by my Mum’s cooking, and I
have learnt from her how to
cook. This is important in the
aspect of ‘doing’ as I really
enjoy the process of baking
and cooking, and the prep that
goes into making the food.

Traveling is a significant

and I go on many holidays
around New Zealand and
Australia every year and have
also travelled to Europe when I
was younger. I hope to travel a
lot more of the world in the next
few years and this would come
under ‘becoming’, as it would
be part of my identity and who I
am.
