Team Gamblers have spent the last few months creating a digital marketing report for our mn319 module. Our chosen sector was the Gambling Industry and the companies we compared were: Paddy Power, Ladbrokes, Bet365, Betfair, BoyleSports We have compared these top 5 companies and for example we reviewed their online presence within the social media hub otherwise known as Facebook and Twitter. The five selected bookmakers have websites & offer financial incentives to open an account with them. Bet365 is the easiest to navigate & well structured . Ladbrokes doesn’t offer account holders the option to stream live sport from their preferred website.

Paddy Power consistently engage with ‘followers’ and ‘fans’ on a day-to-day basis. Facebook fans respond to photos that are non-related to the industry. Twitter fans are more responsive to gambling related feeds. Ladbrokes and Paddy Power have a huge advertising presence both online and offline. o Our report has proven Ladbrokes are not as effective when dealing directly with their consumers as Paddy Power are.
