Mario Kart is similar to my idea because the use of colour
is mostly greens because its set outside.
The angle as well Mario kart has an angle where you are
playing and looking into the track from behind the person
you are playing you can see the back of the car.
The logo has the race flag in it which is what I had for an
idea in mind to put the race flag into my logo or text.
This product makes the audience want to buy it and play
it because its easy to tell who the age range is for It which
is children as it’s a ds game, Its colourful and cartoony its
not realistic the characters are animals and cartoon
which makes it fun for children
3. Existing Product
F-Zero is similar to my idea because the angle the game
is been played from is behind the car, you cant see the
character.
This game looks a little bit on the fantasy side with
purple and orange sky's for the setting of the game.
There is mostly black around the tracks there is no grass
or trees its like the tracks are in space.
The use of font styles is very good its pixelated which
goes well with the theme of the game.
This makes the audience want to buy it and play it
because its all one theme if they like that theme that
has been chosen for the game they will buy it, this game
is for children because it’s a DS game and also not
realistic and children love that none realistic stuff
4. Existing Product
Hot Wheels is similar to my idea because the angle it is
played from is from behind the car.
You cant see the player on this its just a car your playing as.
The use of colour is similar to my idea because its used
mostly greens and blues because its set outside.
Its used racing arrows around the track to tell the player
which way to go and also racing stripes down the track.
I like the use of racing features such as speed, lap, position
etc. this makes the audience want to buy it/play it because
they will know what their doing.

– The common features the researched products have are the use
of colours greens, blues and blacks.
– Another common feature the researched products have is that
the angle the games are played from is behind the car as if your
looking down the track as if you were the person in the car.

– The aspects of the research I will include within my own work
are the different angles there is.
– I will also use the aspects of the colour schemes been used
within the games e.g. greens ,blues, blacks and whites
