This document contains photos submitted by youth participants from Georgia, Slovenia, Ukraine, and Portugal that represent different aspects of their cultures. The photos show traditions, landscapes, architecture, food, and other symbols important to each country. The youth captured elements of their cultures like Georgian grape harvesting traditions, Ukrainian Christmas carols, Slovenian forests and mountains, and Portuguese cork oak trees and rural life.
2. This
book is made by young people from different countries: Slovenia, Georgia,
Ukraine, Portugal. It combines different cultures and the thing that makes this
book so special is that the photos are made by participants, so you can explore
how youth sees and perceives their own culture, and the main thing they want to
show to the world.
The

24. For me, this photo is a collection of different symbols of Ukrainian culture. First of all, is
mosaic from Soviet Union time which is 1. have to be hidden according to
decommunization and 2. beautiful in a way it's made. Second is home-canned
tomatoes. Yes, we continue to do it. And the best ones, of course, are made from home
planted tomatoes of my mom. Third is vyshyvanka. This is national embroidered shirt
which is become very popular. And sometimes I have a feeling that we lose the value by
making things popular.
