 ALTEA is Social Mobile Organization!
For Xmas everyone has received, as a personal gift, a SmartPhone
Andrea Ruscica, our President wrote to all of us “at any time and anywhere we can see the
email, browse, access to social, tweet, … and then start a new important path for the Social
Collaboration in Altea. The advent of Social and Mobile in the Enterprise is one of the
phenomena that will impact more in the business world and Altea will be ready to face!”

SOCIAL ERP PROJECT – THE COLLABORATION CHALLENGE

       How can an organization improve collaboration
            with these simple and social tools?
ALTEA researched an answer, for us and for our customers,
defining a Methodology and Collaborative Tools (in collaboration
with University Politecnico of Milan)

Internally we are going to adopt YAMMER (for unstructured information)
and JAM & STREAMWORK (for structured Information, Team
Organization, Plan of Activities, …) in order to build a new different Share
Space of Collaboration for people who are apart in time and/or space:

 Easy to find people to connect, communicate with and get to know them
 Rapid distribution of relevant and informal information person-to-network
 Build relationships across boundaries (organizational, geographic…)
 Provides a context for knowledge exchange

LOOKING TO THE FUTURE
LESSON LEARNED and THE «BUT» THAT MAKE US SLEEPLESS

      It seems so fun, so creative, so rousing, so engaging but …
             “Cultivate” Social Media is Time Consuming!
It’s clear you CAN NOT DO that BUT …is the game worth the candle?

   As individuals, many of us are already using these tools to enrich and simplify
   our (social) lives BUT … the engagement (both outside and inside) it’s not so
   easy. Now the gain is less than the effort!  What shall we do different?
   We spend many resources to improve “Brand Awareness” BUT in the web
   «ALTEA» has many meanings: car, tomato sauces, dress, fashion accessories ,
   family name, name of woman, … What would be the right strategy? Only strictly
   related to the Vendors?
   Differentiation (3 BU) is an our characteristic and business strategy BUT
   communication to the market is sometimes unclear How to be more effective?
   Is B2B really possible for the Service Companies through social media?
