• France is located in Eastern Europe

Generally speaking, the French eat well and have a

expectancy in France is very high. They prefer eating

Breakfast : usually, French people take bread and pastries
(croissant), a pain-au-chocolate (a square-shaped
chocolate-filled pastry with coffee), tea or chocolate.

restaurant as "special midi"). Dinner beginning usually at
8 PM
Snacks : you could taste French crepes, waffles, ice
creams and also delicious pastries in "salons de the"
during the day. But you may also find cakes and pastries
to take away, at every "boulangerie-pâtisserie". You will
also find small stands selling sandwiches, pizzas or
French fries during the day.

The Eiffel Tower was built for a variety of reasons. The main
reason for its design and construction, was for the World
Exhibition Paris commemorating the 100 year anniversary of the
French Revolution in Europe. Many of the French officials and
people wanted to remember the 100 year anniversary by
improving the quality of Paris and France. Many proposed that
the building of new and beautiful buildings would be a good way
to commerate the 100 year anniversary. Of the many ideas,
Gustavo Eiffel's design of the Eiffel Tower caught some of the
most attention.
