Description & Purpose of This Course
• Description
• This course provides students with
the skills and knowledge needed to
stay current with the ever-changing
multimedia applications.
• Purpose
• To teach students how to integrate
multimedia technology to create
interactive productions/assignments
for use in education and or training
Interactive Multimedia
Design Objectives
Define multimedia
Learn the effects of multimedia
in education and or training
Identify multimedia
applications
Analyze multimedia
applications
Create a multimedia project
STRUCTURE OF THE COURSE / STUDENT
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. This class is 100% Online.
2. 90% of the work is individual work and 10% will be a group
assignment.
3. Assignments will be due on Sunday nights at 11:59pm.
4. After the initial discussion board post, three additional
comments must be posted on the initial discussion board or
on a peer’s post.
5. There is no textbook for this course.
TECHNOLOGY
Students will need a web browser with
Internet access, Microsoft Office or
compatible, Adobe Reader, Flash,
Google Drive, and occasionally other
plug-ins when visiting web sites.
EVALUATION OF THE COURSE
Grading Scale
100-90% = A
89-80% = B
79-70% =C
69-60%=D
59% and below=F
Late work will be accepted up to a week after its due date with a 10%
deduction. Life happens so please contact me as soon as possible for
any issues that may arise.

• Research Powerpoint, Prezi, Slidedog, Keynote, Clearslide/Slide
Rocket . DB Post on likes and dislikes of each.
• Group Project- Each group will create a project using one of the
applications from week 7. Groups must meet at least once
synchronously. Ex. Google Hangout, Skype, Google Chat
• Research at Least 2 Video Creation Applications. DB on positive
and negative of each.
• Comment on at least 3 Peer’s post from Week 9
• Create Your Own Class or Training Video
• Reflection Paper

Description & Purpose of This Course • Description • This course provides students with the skills and knowledge needed to stay current with the ever-changing multimedia applications. • Purpose • To teach students how to integrate multimedia technology to create interactive productions/assignments for use in education and or training
  • 3. Interactive Multimedia Design Objectives Define multimedia Learn the effects of multimedia in education and or training Identify multimedia applications Analyze multimedia applications Create a multimedia project
  • 4. STRUCTURE OF THE COURSE / STUDENT RESPONSIBILITIES 1. This class is 100% Online. 2. 90% of the work is individual work and 10% will be a group assignment. 3. Assignments will be due on Sunday nights at 11:59pm. 4. After the initial discussion board post, three additional comments must be posted on the initial discussion board or on a peer’s post. 5. There is no textbook for this course.
  • 5. TECHNOLOGY Students will need a web browser with Internet access, Microsoft Office or compatible, Adobe Reader, Flash, Google Drive, and occasionally other plug-ins when visiting web sites.
  • 6. EVALUATION OF THE COURSE Grading Scale 100-90% = A 89-80% = B 79-70% =C 69-60%=D 59% and below=F Late work will be accepted up to a week after its due date with a 10% deduction. Life happens so please contact me as soon as possible for any issues that may arise.

DB Post on likes and dislikes of each. • Group Project- Each group will create a project using one of the applications from week 7. Groups must meet at least once synchronously. Ex. Google Hangout, Skype, Google Chat • Research at Least 2 Video Creation Applications. DB on positive and negative of each. • Comment on at least 3 Peer’s post from Week 9 • Create Your Own Class or Training Video • Reflection Paper
