1) Be clear and concise when presenting at meetings so others understand. Prepare materials like presentations to keep everyone on the same page.
2) Hold meetings in distraction-free locations where participants can concentrate.
3) Cite outside sources to enrich discussions. Research suggests shorter, more focused meetings work best when everyone contributes and mood is positive. Properly identify who needs to attend to keep meetings productive.
5. Be clear and concise.
It is important that at any business meeting
we are clear and concise about what we
mean, so that others easily understand
where we are going.
Because many times we can talk about
many things, less than what is important
and can be misunderstood.
6. Prepares the topic
Each meeting should have an objective and it
is necessary that this objective be achieved,
so it is important to prepare the necessary
material such as a presentation, video or
document so that the audience is in the same
synchrony and can understand the subject
and why they are there.
7. Place.
Business meetings should be held in a place
where there are no distractions for
participants, so that they can concentrate as
much as possible.
9. Half Of All Meetings Are A Waste Of
Time - Here’s How To Improve Them
I found an article in Forbes Leadership titled
Where Professor Steven talk about How You
Can Lead Your Team To Peak Performance and
he provides great insight into the issues with
meetings along with ways to improve them.

The length of a meeting is a perfect candidate
for improvement
Psychological research suggests that when you
add a little extra pressure to a group, they are
more focused, and they perform more
optimally.
You need to ask people for input because
meetings are shared experiences. You need to
ask folks what they want to cover. Even more
importantly, you must truly create an
environment where people can engage and
participate in good conversation.

We have to be more active in the management of
meeting size.
When people are not invited to a meeting, they get
a little anxious because they sometimes worry that
they are being marginalized. When we are planning
a meeting, it is extremely easy to identify who truly
has to be there.
When people are in more negative mood states,
they are not as open-minded and creative. The best
meeting leaders help bridge the separation
between what the person was previously doing to
what they are being asked to do now.
