As an Executive you are often isolated when making strategic decisions.
So being part of a network consisting of your peers – outside your own
company – can be beneficial. As a member of EGN you will receive
sparring in a small confidential forum and at the same time you become
part of a large network with direct access to business executives from
all over the world. It provides you with a number of lifelines as an
executive.
THE NETWORK GROUP
Your network group becomes your confidential forum where you can
bounce ideas off one another and gain inspiration whilst sparring with
your peers. You will be challenged and will obtain independent, well-
qualified advice with regard to strategic challenges. The members of
your network group are carefully selected to match your profile.
THE NETWORK
Further to your own confidential network group you will get access to
immediate help, assistance or support from peers and experts from
all over the world. Our member site is the largest knowledge base for
managers and specialists. You will get immediate support on actual
challenges via our online-based global enquiry system and currently
you will be invited to joint meetings and after-hours meetings across
the groups.

Member benefits
	The network gives you space to develop personally and as an
executive. A network is an effective form of in-service training and
executive development, which helps you maintain your knowledge
and keep up to date in your specialist field.
	You will be able to optimise your time and resources by learning from
the experiences of others faced with similar challenges and projects.
A network is a shortcut to “tried and tested” solutions, saving you
from the need to seek the help of consultants and making expensive
mistakes.
	Networking is about give and take. If you are open about your
challenges your contribution will return tenfold.
	You can grow with the network as your career grows – and you will
always have a personal contact for your next job.

Composition
of the group
	The group is composed of 20-25 people at your own level. Number and
members are carefully selected to ensure on the one hand the crucial
confidentiality and on the other hand the diversity needed to ensure
group dynamic.
	4-6 meetings are scheduled each year.
	The group is headed by a competent network manager who is
responsible for ensuring that the group works and that time is spent
efficiently in order to ensure that all members take away benefits.
	The group determines the topics that they wish to focus on and
to develop. Topics covered can be shared challenges, whether of
a strategic or operational nature. Other topics could be the latest
trends in the members’ specific field.
	The meeting is based on cases from members of the group. External
speakers offer insight into areas where there is a desire to bring in
outside expertise.
	In between meetings, the group can make use of the group’s own
closed, confidential member website, with contact data, a calendar,
minutes, presentations, group e-mail function and much more.

Price and
member benefits
	A year’s membership costs from SGD 3.500 – 4.000 depending
on the level of management, chair, the number of meetings and
external speakers. The fee is usually paid for by your company as part
of your general continuing education. 
	The amount covers all activities associated with the meetings. In
addition to the meetings in your own network group, you also gain
access to our unique online tools which allow questions to be asked
across disciplines and national borders.
	If you lose your job you can continue your membership free of
charge for a year while you use your network to find your next career
move.

CONFIDENTIALITY
Small groups provide a space for dialogue and feedback with regard to
specific challenges and not least the confidentiality needed to be able
to make use of each other.
PROFESSIONALISM
All meetings are chaired by a professional, experienced chair ensuring
dialogue, progress and development within the group. We take care
of all the practicalities so you just have to turn up, participate actively
in the dialogue and benefit.

INDEPENDENCE
We value our independence highly. Selling is not allowed in the
network, and we do not accept consultants as members. New
members must be approved by the group in question in order to avoid
competition or conflicts of interests with customers or suppliers.
