1. Scripts
Shot 1
Inside the car, mid shot on Cain leaning on the car door and looking out of the window. Three
doors open simultaneously and close in cannon.
Father: “Here we are our new home.”
Mother: “You’re going to love it.”
Sister: “Can I go see my room now?”
Mother: “Of course you can.”
Sister: “Yay.”
Shot 2
Low angle, Car door opens and Cain gets out. Camera pans to the front door and we see Cain
enter and slam the door behind him.
Shot 3
The camera follows Cain into the kitchen; he sits down and the camera cuts to a close-up of him
beginning to eat his toast. It then cuts to a two shot of his mother and him.
Mother: “Are you ready for your first day of school?”
Cain: “No.”
The camera cuts to Cain picking up his backpack then cuts again to him leaving the room and
again slamming the door behind him.
Shot 4
Cain is sitting on a bus with headphones in and his backpack on the seat next to him. This is a long
shot.
Shot 5/6
There’s a mid shot of Cain sitting at a desk writing. There’s then a cut to a close-up of his hand and
another cut back to a long shot which will include the desk in front of him.

2. Bully 3- sitting at the desk in front of Cain. Gets up and throws his books on the floor as she walks
past. There’s then a close-up of Cain picking up his books, the camera then cuts to a mid-shot of
Cain taking out his phone then a point of view shot is shown where we see the message on his
phone which says ‘Look behind you.’ There’s then a cut and we see the boy looking at the
whiteboard which says ‘Everybody hates you.’ There’s another cut to a close-up of his face
showing his reaction.
Class- Laughter
Shot 7
We can see Cain’s mother sitting in the car then Cain enters. This is a two-shot.
Mother: “Are you alright? What happened?”
Cain: “I don’t want to talk about it.”
Shot 8
Long shot of Cain in his bed with his mother sitting next to him. (Two shot)
Cain: “I don’t feel well”
Mother: “Well, you don’t have a temperature so you’re going to school”
Cain: “I CAN’T. IM ILL.”
Mother: “Look, I don’t know what happened yesterday but you have to go to school today.”
Cain: “Fine.” Rolls his eyes
Shot 9
There is a long shot of Cain walking down the hallway past his bullies, the action cuts to a close-up
of their feet showing them tripping him up. We then see Cain get up of the floor and run away
whilst his bullies chase him.
Shot 10
There is a long shot of Cain sitting down scared next to a toilet hiding from the bullies, the camera
will then zoom into Cain’s face to reveal his frightened facial expression.

3. Shot 11
There will be a medium shot of Cain’s legs as he is climbing out a window, the camera will then
zoom out to reveal that Cain is escaping his bullies from the bathroom window.
Shot 12
Cain will be walking into the woods and there will be a long shot from behind Cain showing the
surroundings of the woods, the camera will then cut to a point of view shot to allow the audience
to view what Cain is able to see.
Shot 13
There will be a medium shoe of Cain who will be sitting next to a tree hiding away from everyone.
Out of irritation he will begin to dig into the ground until he digs and feels something hard
underneath his fingers. Cain will continue digging until he unearths an old wooden box. As he
stares at the box, the camera will be panning around Cain.
Shot 14
The camera will be filming a side view shot of Cain sleeping in bed next to the box. The camera will
then slowly start to zoom into…
Shot 15
A long shot of the family sitting around the dinner table will be shown and there will then be cuts
of the Cain and his father between their conversations.
Father: “Remove the box from the dinner table!”
Cain: “No! It understand me” runs out of the kitchen dramatically with the box
Shot 16
Both Cain’s mother and father will be in the kitchen watching Cain whilst he is outside speaking to
the box. There will be a 2 over the shoulder shot while the parents are whispering to one another.
Mother: “I'm starting to get worried about him and that box”
Father: “do you even know where he found it?”

4. Shot 17
The camera will show a long shot of Cain from the back, the camera will then cut to a close up of
Cain’s face as he chants the encryption placed on it. As the box opens up, the camera will slowly
zoom into the box to reveal what is inside.
Cain: “Die duiwel se Boks”
Shot 18
The camera will show a close up of what is inside the box which is all of Ophelia’s possessions.
Shot 19
There will be a cut and then close up of a magazine article from the box that Cain is holding. The
article will include information on Ophelia and how she died from being bullied.
Shot 20
The camera will pan and there will then be a close up of a transition between Ophelia and Cain,
which represents Cain becoming possessed.
Shot 21
As the transition continues, there will be a close up of Cain screaming as blood begins to drip from
his forehead in the shape of a cross.
Shot 22
The camera will show a two long shot of Cain and his sister who is secretly standing behind him.
While Cain’s sister is watching him, she notices that he is whispering to himself.
Cain: “Connecticut, Connecticut, Connecticut, Connecticut...”
Shot 23
The camera will cut to a two shot, mid shot of both Cain’s mother and sister who are sitting on the
sofa.
Cain’s sister: “Something’s wrong with Cain mummy”

5. Shot 24
Due to his possession, there will be a mid-shot of Cain in the kitchen by the fridge, eating raw meat
that is covered with blood.
Shot 25
The camera will show an extreme close up shot of Cain’s mouth that is dripping with
raw blood and then all of a sudden he will make a loud scream due to him being
possessed.
Shot 26
The bible will be placed on the floor and the camera will then cut to an extreme close up of the
bible when suddenly a gush of wind will cause the bible to go flying as if a spirit’s force threw it
across the room.
Shot 27
In this shot, bully 3 will be in their bedroom and sees a shadow in the corner of their
eye which leads them to look out the window to discover Cain standing outside in
their garden, possessed and speaking in tongues.
Shot 28
The camera will be placed at a high angle shot to show the bully helplessly
screaming as Cain drags them across the floor leaving us in suspense to what
happens to them.
Shot 29
In this shot, Cain will be in bully number 2’s house, the camera will show a point of
view shot of Cain looking at the bully, the camer a will then cut to a close up of
either Cain’s or the bully’s face and then Cain will then jump on him and attack him.
Shot 30

6. This shot will begin with an over the shoulder view of bully number 1 who is reading a text
message they just received, the camera will then zoom in to the message on the phone and then
the camera will then cut to a close up of the bully’s face.
Shot 31
There will be a mid-shot of the bully standing in the woods on his own, when suddenly there will
be a loud bang.
Shot 32
Once again, there will be a mid-shot of the bully laying on the floor after they have been hit over
the head by Cain with a large piece of wood. The camera will then zoom in to the bully’s face to
reveal more blood.
Shot 33
In this shot there will be a close up of Cain looking in the mirror at his eye, the camera will then
zoom out to reveal the demon's reflection in the mirror, the demon will be smiling creepily at Cain
causing him to be startled and jump.
Shot 34
This shot will include the title and release date with a nursery rhyme overlaying
Shot 35
The last shot will be the demon jumping at the camera and screaming.
