Some Slums have no street lights. Provision of10 to 15 low mast streetlights.
High mast floodlight is inadequate.
More lights around the high mast
floodlight.
The residential areas on the left towards
the end of Motera road lack street lights
completely.
Provision of street lights in the newly
developed areas.
Many street lights are not in a working
condition.
Maintenance and alternate spacing of
trees and street lights.
Low luminance due to the growth of
trees.
Timely trimming of the extra branches
blocking the street lights.

Presence of un-signalized junctions

Provision of traffic policemen on major
junctions to reduce congestion.

Issues:
• High traffic is seen especially in the market area due
to parking of two-wheelers as well as four wheelers
on the narrow congested roads.
• There is also a spill over of parking outside the
market areas due to insufficient parking.
• There are a very less percentage of roads having
legal parking on the site. Rest all the parking
observed was illegal.
• Due to insufficient parking, People park on the
footpaths and that creates congestion.
Interventions:
Some of parking in and
around the high density
parking areas can be
diverted to nearby vacant
plots that are currently
used as dumpsites. The
areas are shows as follows:

Issues: • High traffic is seen especially in the market area due to parking of two-wheelers as well as four wheelers on the narrow congested roads. • There is also a spill over of parking outside the market areas due to insufficient parking. • There are a very less percentage of roads having legal parking on the site. Rest all the parking observed was illegal. • Due to insufficient parking, People park on the footpaths and that creates congestion. Interventions: Some of parking in and around the high density parking areas can be diverted to nearby vacant plots that are currently used as dumpsites.
