The innovative 3d kinematics of the io 3d
revolutionizes the approach to light. The
striking head of the io 3d is almost invisibly
linked to the angled arm. Simply touch
the heat insulated pads to move the lamp
with a fascinating absolutely free three-
dimensional movement.

New technology creates new freedom. It almost
goes without saying that brightness is con-
trolled at the light source, the head of the lamp.
Switch the light on or off or dim it with a simple
gesture – intuitively without touching it.

These can be combined at will thanks to the
modular structure of the lamps. So the io 3d
can be individually configured and harmonize

The io 3d exploits the options of the latest
highly efficient LED technology in a manner
that is unprecedented. The desired light
intensity can be preselected and then easily
dimmed using the integrated touchless
sensor or a wall dimmer. For io 3d you have
a choice of two different light colors; inter-
changeable LED chips make a later update
easy – an entirely new way to handle light!

Perceived quality of light is determined through the quality of
the rendering of the visible light spectrum. The measury unit
is the so-called Color Rendering Index (CRI); natural sunlight
with CRI 100 is the reference. The Occhio »high color« LED
come quite close to this optimum with CRI 95 and thus ensure
the best possible color rendering.

io 3d lamps are operated with a converter as direct current voltage source. Any direct current
voltage source with 42…48 V DC can be used as a converter, for io 3d spotlights converter power
of at least 22 W is required. In precisely the same manner as for the low voltage lamps, multiple
io 3d lamps can be wired in a parallel circuit and operated on a common converter.
The Occhio converter is perfectly matched to these requirements and can be dimmed via trailing
edge. A list of all compatible dimmers is provided at www.occhio.de/dim_en
Other converters can also be used; dimmability depends on the converter.

The mobile spotlights are delivered with a power supply plug unit with integrated converter
(48 V DC / 25 W). Switching and dimming of the lamps is executed via the touchless sensor function
in the head of the lamps. To ensure the faultless touchless dimming function an electrical outlet with
ground conductor (grounding) is required.

All io 3d lamp heads offer a touchless dimming function. A momentary approach of a hand below
the lens will switch the lamp on and off, a sustained approach dims the lamp up and down. This
touchless dimming function can be disabled by the user.
