I was sent with a single objective of addressing all the performance issues and to fix major
problem faced by the bank regarding position accounts which was faced by the bank after they
upgraded from R6 to R9. Due to a bug in the system the foreign currency accounts are wrongly
updated which has a major impact in banks general ledger.
I have identified that it is due to a wrong calculation and some wrong corrections posted the
system failed to update the position accounts correctly. Also I have rectified other problems
related to banks general ledger to facilitate bank to submit error free financial statement to their
central bank. I was much appreciated for the work and awarded with best performer award
during that quarter
