  2. 2. BASED ON PHYLOGENETIC RELATIONSHIP Widely distributed and most economically important Distributed only few parts of World Australia, Newzeland, America
  3. 3. ECONOMICALLY IMPORTANT FAMILIES OF SUB ORDER: HETEROPTERA
  4. 4. SO:- HETEROPTERA •Forewings hemelytra-basal half is thickened and the apical half is membranous • Rostrum arising from anterior part of the head • Wings held flat over the body • Stink glands often well developed
  5. 5. HEMIELYTRA Pronotum well developed, TRIANGULAR/V SHAPED SCUTELLUM
  6. 6. ECONOMIC IMPORTANCE:-This Fmily includes larges bugs. These are highly predacious, feeding on small fish, tadpoles, young frogs, and insects. Fertilization:- male having strong spine like ovipositor with that it directly inserts aedigus in to the ventral surface of abdomen and deposits the eggs in a pouch like structure (Organ of Ribaga) so this type of reproduction i.e., male will directly deposits the eggs by wounding the exoskeleton of female body called Traumatic insemination

  11. 11. Family-. Pentatomidae: -Shield/stink bugs (bad smell emitting bugs)
  12. 12. Scutelleridae is a family of true bugs. They are commonly known as jewel bugs or metallic shield bugs due to their often brilliant coloration.
