ECONOMIC IMPORTANCE:-This Fmily includes larges bugs. These are highly
predacious, feeding on small fish, tadpoles, young frogs, and insects. They can fly
from one water source to another and are often attracted to light. They inflict
painful bites when handled.
Ex. In some species of Belostoma, eggs are laid on back of the male: Belostoma
indica, Lethocerus indicus
