Subject :- Regarding conducting workshop at MANIT
Dear Dr G. Dixit,
Premanshu might have already spoken about you regarding the workshop – how to
design a web application – we are looking to conduct at MANIT.
The intent of the workshop is to equip the students about the latest web technologies
which is absent in today's college curriculum. With advent of internet & web applications, the
web technologies are playing the key feature in today's entrepreneurship fraternity. Earlier it
was google, now it is facebook or twitter. Examples are immense but effort to impart the
appropriate knowledge for Indian students to come at par with western students is missing.
About Stalk Ninja – We provide a platform to startups in India to effectively engage the
bright & hands on student resource through projects. For students, such an initiative let them
observe a startup closely & equips them to understand entreprenurship together with giving
them industry knowledge. The students get to earn from the projects as well.
We act as moderators & make sure that both the sides behaves responsibily & none of
the parties tries to extort the other. We aim to create a fair eco-system where students can
learn from startups & startups can get their work done.
About us – I am Ashish, an IIT Madras alumni (2005 batch), NTSE scholar, hold two
patents. This is my second venture after www.minkle.in, which I started with two IIM Kozhikode
graduates. The other CoFounder is Gaurav, who is a student in Jabalpur Engineering College. I
met Gaurav while doing Minkle & was totally impressed with his contributions. We believe that
there are many Gauravs around the nation & Stalk Ninja is an effort to expose them to startups
We are looking to conduct such workshops to train students as well as identify potential
Ninja(s). Kindly let us know if you think if it is a good move.
