What is SEO?
• Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is the process of affecting the
online visibility of a website or a web page in a web search
engine's unpaid results or organic result.
• Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of optimizing
your online content, so that a search engine likes to show it as a
top result for searches of a certain keyword.

What is On Page Optimization
• On page optimization (on-page SEO) refers to all
measures that can be taken directly within the website
in order to improve its position in the search rankings.
Examples of this include measures to optimize the
content or improve the meta description and title tags.

What is Title Tag?
• A title tag is an HTML element that specifies the title of a
web page. Title tags are displayed on search engine results
pages (SERPs) as the clickable headline for a given result,
and are important for usability, SEO, and social sharing.
• Use keyword in starting of Title
• Add modifiers like “2017”, “best”, “guide”, “checklist” and
“review” can help you rank for long tail versions of your
target keyword.
What is Meta Description?
• The meta description is a ~160 character snippet, a tag in
HTML, that summarizes a page's content. Search engines show
the meta description in search results mostly when the
searched for phrase is contained in the description. Optimizing
the meta description is a very important aspect of on-page SEO
• HTML format (meta name=“description” content=“page
description”)
• Use primary keyword in description.
What is SEO Friendly URL?
• Meta Tags and SEO. One of the most basic search engine optimization
techniques is in using SEO-friendly URL structures. A good structure
can help the indexation process of your website, but, unfortunately,
there are plenty of websites that use incorrect, suboptimal URLs
• Use primary keyword in URL.
What is Content?
• Content is "something that is to be expressed through some
medium, as speech, writing or any of various arts”.
• Content has different types forms- Image, Text, Video and
Audio.
• Content is king because google always serves to audience
quality and relevant content.
• If you do not have quality content and relevant to your primary
keyword then all activity for SEO is just spam.
What is Anchor Text?
• Anchor text is the clickable text in a hyperlink. SEO best practices
dictate that anchor text be relevant to the page you're linking to,
rather than generic text. The blue, underlined anchor text is the
most common as it is the web standard, although it is possible to
change the color and underlining through html code.

What is Inbound & Outbound links?
• Inbound Link: An inbound link (also referred to as a back link) is
a hyperlink on a third-party web page that points to a web page on your
site.
Example: I linked one of my friend’s blog and my friend could say “I
received an inbound link from digitalboy”
• Outbound Link: Outbound links are links that point to some other
domain from your site. When you link out to related domains, it not only
helps the search engine to understand your niche, but also helps to
increase the trust and quality of your site which plays a vital role in your
blog’s SEO.
Example: I linked someone blog that is relevant to my niche and content
and referring to someone’s blog after click.
What is H1 & H2 Tags?
• Header tags have their own place on a page and have to be used in a
proper order starting with your h1. The h1 tag should contain your
targeted keywords, ones that closely relate to the page title and are
relevant to your content. The h2 tag is a subheading and should
contain similar keywords to your h1 tag.
What is Alt Text Image?
• Alt text or alternate text is an attribute added to an image tag in
HTML. This text appears inside the image container when
the image can not be displayed. It helps search engines
understand what an image is about. Alternate text is also very
helpful in case images on a page cannot be found.
What is meaning of fast page loading in SEO terms?
• Google announced website speed would begin having an impact on
search ranking. Now, the speed at which someone could view the
content from a search result would be a factor.
