How to Enhance Business Directory Effectively To Serve More Clients 
Running a Business Directory could be a bit of stressful, but it will certainly be extremely 
profitable if it meets the set target. There are many things that determine the effectiveness of a 
business listing only to serve numerous clients. Many webmaster and operators have 
developed their own methods to serve clients in a versatile manner, which gets more traffic to 
them. Here is how they do it; 
1. Publicity: Putting up ads on free advertisement portals and giving a back link to the 
listing; makes for a good publicity tactic. Furthermore, putting the same back link to the 
signatures that the webmaster leaves behind in the forum posts; they also make for a 
good publicity. 
2. Blogging: Nothing is more attractive than informative blogging, which makes a big base 
of regular readers with time. Here the details of new entrants in the listings could be 
discussed and let the readers choose their interest of business or service portal through 
it. It’s also easy because majority of the blogging portals provide free space. One just 
has to write and update the blog every now and then, but ideally the blog post must 
appear at least thrice in a week to keep the traffic optimum and presence of the listing 
in SERP. 
3. Emails: Writing and sending emails to various businesses across the globe with a link to 
the listings of their interest would get them to check the same. This will enhance the 
outreach of the listing and more would know what kind of services, products and 
business are offered. However, spamming must be avoided at all costs and the emails 
must be kept professional yet with a personal touch. 
4. Responding to inquiries: There should be a dedicated phone line open at all times to 
answer the enquiries of interested clients of the businesses listed. At times many people 
like to find out about any enquiries through the agency that is listing everything and 
then go ahead with the actual business firm. The emails should also be responded too 
quickly because then it shows for a perfect Aussie Business Directory portal that is 
always active to serve only the finest to its audience. 
There are more ways to serve clients through enhancing the listings, but finding some genuine 
ways that are not used by other webmasters, it would bring more benefit to everybody 
involved in the process. People search business listings for immediate solution to their needs, 
thus if small things are included; it would only enhance the traffic as well as serve more.
