BEYOND4.0 aims to help deliver an
inclusive European future by
examining the impact of the new
technologies on the future of jobs,
business models and welfare. We
use a multidisciplinary research
approach undertaken by a top-tier
consortium with stakeholder
engagement throughout the
project.

4. Some words about the quantitative pilar
Mobilising existing European
statistical databases
to allow an empirical and spatio-
temporal approach of the socio-
economic consequences of
technological transformation.
Building integrated and
harmonised databases
to measure technological change
over time and understand how it
relates with employers’ choices in
terms of organisational practices
and with workers’ outcomes
within organisations and on the
labour market.
5. Objectives of the workshop
The first one is to bring together producers and users to opportunities and barriers
to the development of aggregated and harmonised linked employer/employee
databases, and options to be taken into existing surveys to facilitate this task
The second one is to propose and discuss a measurement frame based on existing
surveys to be able to follow technological developments and analyse their
consequences from the points of view of organisations and workers.
The third one is to discuss data access and servicing policies by confronting
producers' and users’ views
