2. Counselors assist all students in acquiring and using
life-long skills through the development of academic, career
and personal/social skills. Emphasis is on the developmental
skill when the student enters the University and continue as
they progress. School counseling program help ensure equal
opportunities for all students.
Effective school counseling program are a
collaborative effort between the counselor, teachers,
administration, family and community.
