WE BELIEVE
THAT
EDUCATION
IS A BASIC
HUMAN RIGHT.
75 MILLION Children
Lack Access To
Education.
We can change that...
#EducationMakesAllTheDifference
45% of children ages 6-11 in the least developed countries do not
attend school
#EducationMakesAllTheDifference
A single year of primary school increases the wages a child will
earn as an adult by 5–15%
#EducationMakesAllTheDifference
For each additional year of secondary school attended, an
individual’s wages increase by 15–25%
#EducationMakesAllTheDifference
A child is 40% more likely to live past the age of 5 if his/her mother
has had a basic education.
Sampoorna Shaala
Sampoorna Shaala is a
flagship program that
provides holistic
intervention to revitalize
Government schools
benefiting millions of
children by making
focussed and sustainable
interventions in

- Infrastructure
- Teacher Development
- Scholarships
- WASH
Sampoorna Shaala
Infrastructure
- We build toilets, classrooms, water
facilities, etc. in schools to ensure
that students have access to a
quality learning environment.

- Where usable classrooms exist, we
provide for soft infrastructure like
Furniture, e-classrooms, libraries,
lighting, water, etc.

- We work with communities who are
deeply committed to their children’s
education. The communities may
contribute to the build through labor
and materials, while we provide
supplemental programming to

provide quality learning.
Sampoorna Shaala
Teacher Development
- An effective teacher means that
students are receiving high quality
education.

- We create engaging learning
materials to address the lack of
sufficient resources in the
classroom.

- We provide Para Teachers/
Teachers/Head-Teachers and
other staff members, with learning
interventions using interactive
methodologies through coaching
and workshops.

- We evaluate student education
indicators to assess the quality of
our program intervention.
Sampoorna Shaala
Scholarships
- A secondary school scholarship
gives students the resources they
need for a full year of school.

- We use historical data to locate
high-need schools whose
students are at a greater risk of
dropping out.

- Scholarship packages including
but not limited to: tuition costs,
school materials, transportation
and any other fees, are provided.
Sampoorna Shaala
WASH
- We teach children about WATER,
SANITATION and HYGIENE
(WASH) to keep them healthy,
happy and provide access to
effective education.

- WASH ensures that all students
have access to high quality, safe
sanitation facilities; Since students
often lack basic skills, such as
regular hand washing needed to
maintain proper health.

- Throughout the year, we observe
students to make sure they are
improving their health and
sanitation behaviours.

Monitoring and Evaluation
We believe in constantly measuring our performance in order to maximize our
impact. We gather baseline data before we build, and track student progress,
behaviors and attitudes throughout our long-term support. This process
helps us ensure that we are not just putting up four walls but creating
sustainable access to education.
