- Implementation of MSP in Denmark – state of the art Process - Legislative proposal - Public consultation ended late 2015 (draft proposal) - Parliament spring 2016 - MSP-planning process - Starting up in autumn 2016 (at the earliest) - Cooperation between ministries concerned - Consultations/cooperation with municipalities, regional authorities, neighbouring countries and the public Content (draft proposal) - Competent authority: Ministry of Business and Growth (Danish Maritime Authority) - Comprehensive plan: North Sea and Baltic Sea in one plan - Legal status: Legally binding plan for government authorities (municipalities) - Objectives: Energy, transport, fishery and aquaculture, raw materials and the environment - Approach: Holistic – sector plans and other interests to be coordinated and weighed against each other - Entering into force: 1.
