2009 - 2013
Longcross Construction Ltd; Comprising of large store extensions & refurbishments,
new build including timber-framing for Sainsbury's Superstores up to £14 million. As
the lead surveyor all pre-contract negotiations and tendering undertaken (allocation
based), placing of all subcontract trades; groundwork, superstructure, envelopes,
roofing, M&E & fit-out. Monthly Subcontract applications, client valuations, internal
CVRs. Final accounts and margin reviews.
Also five & ten year Tesco refreshes were undertook. These were very fast paced and
comprised of upgrading refrigeration, M&E, specialist equipment and the general
refurbishment of the overall store. The value of these were up to £1 million with an
average contract duration of 8-10 weeks.
