PERSONAL STATEMENT
With extensive experience in the construction and maintenance industry I have worked in a variety of hands on and
administrative roles in the MOD, Domestic, Commercial, & Industrial sectors.
I am able to lead and work within a team and have successfully managed and supervised workforces that have
included people at all levels, including multiskilled and multinational tradespeople both in the UK and abroad.

2. EMPLOYMENT
Regional Engineering Supervisor /Coordinator- Interserve –November 2015 – Present.
Responsible for the day to day activities of a small team of multi tech engineers over 12 BBC locations. This
includes Health and Safety, adherence to reactive times, completion of PPM’s and all aspects of compliance.
Facilities Engineer - Interserve - June 2014 – November 2015
Sole responsibility for all maintenance at BBC Southampton plus additional satellite sites in Portsmouth, Dorchester,
Isle of Wight and BIC Bournemouth.
Facilities Engineer – ISS Feb 2014 - June 2014.
Working at a large commercial banking site in Poole. All associated maintenance including: PPM’s and reactive
maintenance issues. Trend BMS Systems.
Facilities Engineer - QinetiQ 2013 – 2014
Working on a large MOD site attending priority call outs, general maintenance, fault finding and rectification,
testing and electrical installations.
Self Employed 2005 – 2013
Self-employed Electrician on a variety of short term contracts via technical agencies as well as my own contracts.
This includes being contracted to Spie Matthew Hall at their prestigious J.P Morgan site in Bournemouth in both
installations and maintenance and providing occasional shift cover for the Maintenance Technicians. Duties
including: PPM’s, Reactive Help Desk Calls, Remedial Works and Log Keeping.
From December 2007 to December 2009 I was contracted to Naston Ltd as Project Supervisor on three water
treatment plants in Libya with a total contract value of £12 million. My key responsibilities involved ensuring the
installations were to specification and that the work was to British Standards. Liaising between the Libyan Main
Contractor and the Turkish sub-contractors, regular progress reports to the U.K. and final testing and commissioning
as well as providing local field training in the operation of the plants
I have also worked at a variety of MOD sites including seven months at Larkhill Garrison for SEC.
I also carried out a Complete Periodic Test & Inspection of The Chewton Glen Hotel and Langston Manor.

Project Engineer - Interact Technical Services 2003 - 2004
The company was involved in a variety of design and build Mechanical and Electrical projects, main role to co-
ordinate designs and installations and achieve maximum profitability.

* Ensured each project had all the necessary resources to operate efficiently.
* Motivated and managed the office and on-site teams.
* Controlled the budgets.
* Maintained close contact with all concerned including the client, consultants and the main contractor. This
ensured a continuous and accurate flow of information.

Electrical Contracts Manager - Pioneer Shopfitting Ltd 2001 - 2003
The company was mainly involved in the refurbishment of existing retail premises and the complete design and
installation of new outlets.
I was involved in the projects at every stage from initial meetings with clients to handover.

* Arranging and managing maintenance contracts for completed projects. This was a new role for the company.
