  1. The midterm grade of a1.25 is already factored into the new GPA (listed as a 1.798). There are two things that can be focused on at this point: 1.) Getting the semester GPA above a 2.0, which will at least still allow the student one more chance 2.) Getting the cummulative GPA above a 2.0, which will lead to be getting off probation
