TECHNICAL DATA SHEET / MAITENANCE MANUAL
1. General data.
1.1. Supply and exhaust ventilation unit with heat recovery (hereafter referred to as
recuperator) is an electric device manufactured as a decentralized ventilation monoblock,
which does not require connecting ducts and is designed to create and maintain a
comfortable microclimate in rooms of various functional purposes.
1.2. The recuperator circulates air between the room and the outdoor air environment
(street), while being located in the outer wall of the building (in-wall installation).
1.3. The efficiency of the ventilation device is achieved due to the application of high-quality
and environmentally friendly components, which allows it to be highly rationally used for
household objects, as well as facilities with increased requirements for sanitary conditions:
apartments, private houses, cottages, offices, rooms for various purposes, educational
institutions, kindergartens, workshops, stores, production premises, etc.
1.4. Recuperator countercurrent aluminium heat exchanger has high coefficient of heat
exchange efficiency in both directions. The technical solution of the recuperator operation is
based on the principle of heat exchange between the exhaust air flow from the room and
the supply air from the street. In winter, warm and exhaust extract air transfers its heat to
the supply air, heating it through the plates of the heat exchanger installed in the ventilation
device. In fact, heat is recovered from the extract air, which effectively heats the fresh air
supplied from the street. The heat exchanger of the device is designed in such a way that
oppositely directed flows do not mix, which can significantly increase the efficiency of
recuperation. In summer, the recuperator significantly reduces the temperature of the
supply air from the outside, working in tandem with the indoor air conditioner. This process
is directly opposite to the winter mode: the cooler air stream removed from the room cools
partially the supply air.
1.5. In addition to high-efficiency heat exchange, the recuperator allows to reduce the
amount of moisture in the room, removing it together with exhaust air. This helps to prevent
the appearance of damp in the room, condensate on the windows, fungus and mold on the
walls.
1.6. "BOUL" supply and exhaust recuperators are produced by the manufacturer in various
modifications, differing mainly in productive capacity (air exchange m³/ hour), the number of
operating modes and the principle of the unit control.
1.7. “BOUL” recuperators are manufactured in compliance with the requirements of TU U
27.5-39682956-002: 2021.
3. 2. Main technical characteristics.
2.1. The devices are connected to the electrical network with parameters of 110-240V,
60/50 Hz.
2.2. The devices are equipped with fans with power supply 12V DC.
2.3. The productive capacity of the device (if such a parameter is provided by a particular
model) is controlled via the remote control.
2.4. The main dimensions of the device: see the Figure above.

4. 3. "BOUL" recuperators model range.
- The manufacturer reserves the right to change the color of the fan blades. It is black by
default. Additional accessories are presented in the manufacturer's advertising catalogues.
- The manufacturer has the right to expand the range of models, complementing the basic
models presented above with minor characteristics. Such changes will have the prefix "+"
(Pioneer 30 +, Pioneer 60 +, etc.).
- The device is equipped with an automatic valve on the exhaust channel and a mechanical
valve on the supply channel. Control of the valve of the supply channel is mechanical. By
turning the control wheel clockwise as far as it will go, the user has the option of blocking the
supply channel.
- Insulation class: II.
- Protection degree: IP24.
- The established operation life of the system: 10 years.
- Warranty period: 24 months.
- Operation of the unit: at the temperatures from -30°C to + 40°C.

5. 4. Installation.
"BOUL" supply and exhaust ventilation system with heat recovery is a monoblock that is
ready to use in accordance with design and layout tasks and conditions. The system is
mounted into the hole of the corresponding diameter (182 mm) in the upper part of the wall,
which borders the street, at a distance of at least 100-150 mm from the ceiling or wall.
The inclination towards the street is implemented constructively in the device. There is no
need to make a hole in the wall at an angle (!).
The working module of the ventilation system is mounted into the hole on the seal (Fig.1).
Fig.1. Mounting “BOUL” into the hole:
The length of the working module must correspond to the thickness of the wall in which the
installation is carried out (minimum 440 mm). To ensure the correct operation of the system,
it is necessary that its housing, which faces the street, protrudes 1-2 cm beyond the wall till of
the outlet flow canals (Exhaust air).
Fig.2. Hole preparation:
6. Other preparatory work includes preparation of the
hole for the installation of the switch and grooves for
the electrical network between the system, the
switch and the place where the system is connected
to the power source.
CONNECTION
of the recuperator to the electrical network, system control from the remote.
Fig.3. Connection of recuperator to the electrical network in case of its
regulation by remote control unit.
Disconnect the electricity supply to the electrical network to which the ventilation system will
be connected.
Attention! Make sure that the power supply is actually cut off!
The ventilation system is connected to a stationary electric network with 110-240V.
Connection of the ventilation system to the mains is provided by an electric cable, which goes
from the working module (standard configuration). If the electrical network is not connected
to the mounting hole, the electrical cable from the recuperator should be connected to the
mains in the junction box as shown in Fig.3. Connect the contact terminals 1 and 2 in parallel,
or install the electrical connector on the cable that meets the above parameters for fast
connection and disconnection of electrical devices. Electrical connectors are not included in
standard configuration. If the cable of the stationary network was previously connected to
the mounting hole, then the power is connected to the cable of the working module in close
proximity to the recuperator housing. Сut the recuperator electric cable to the length that is
convenient for electrical connection.
All electrical cables used in the installation must be 0.5-0.75 mm² in section. The operation of
the system is regulated by remote control unit (except BOUL «Pioneer 30» model). Remote
control unit controls the operation of fans built into the housing of the ventilation system
≈110-240V
7. (turns on, regulates, turns off).
Recuperators BOUL are adapted to the existing electrical network in automatic mode without
the use of software. This reduces significantly the noise parameters of the equipment and
allows to provide the noise characteristics of the ventilation system declared in the technical
data sheet.
Attention! After the ventilation system is connected to the mains, it is necessary to:
1. Supply power to the system.
2. Check fan operation in different modes, using control options.
5. Operation. Maintenance.
5.1. Do not block and obscure the device with interior objects.
5.2. While exploitation, it is necessary to purge the recuperator once a year (possibly by
connecting a hose to the back of the vacuum cleaner). But before it, first remove the interior
part of the recuperator by pulling it towards you.
6. Transportation. Storage.
6.1. Transportation of the ventilation unit in its original packaging is allowed by any type of
transport that ensures its safety from mechanical damage.
6.2. Ventilation units must be stored indoors or under a canopy and must be protected from
moisture and corrosive chemicals.
7. Warranty.
Warranty exploitation period, subject to the requirements of this passport for storage,
transportation, installation and operation, is established for 2 years from the date of commissioning
of the device, but not more than 2.5 years from the date of shipment from the manufacturer.
