I continue to work on coding the Convergence Music System which is a "retro" jukebox that plays mp3's. I coded the entire project in Python on Windows and tested its cross platform capabilities successfully with Arm and Linux based computers. The jukebox now has plenty of features including pay for songs you want to hear, list of upcoming selections, song information and RSS output that extends to digital signage systems. The jukebox can tweet information and I've developed a random play genre/artist/year system for it so that the Jukebox can switch and mix random play music in seconds. My plan is to open the code so others can extend the capabilities of the jukebox.
