A. Content Standard To evaluate the reading proficiency level of the students and to measure the students reading comprehension level.
B. Performance Standard The students read the passage for there grade level and answer question about the passage read.

Give the standards in oral and silent reading
Motivate the students to be interested in the passages that will make them at ease
