7. Typical Weekend Retreat

8. Arrive Friday around 1600, Lions help check-in and all other aspects

9. Dinner around 1800

10. Quick session for adults following dinner

11. Allows counselors to identify their audience

12. Children are entertained during the Friday session.

13. After session, activities for all retreat goers takes place

14. Saturday – two to three sessions occur. Sessions are based on group need.

15. Afternoon free time for the families

16. One-on-ones between Vets and/or families are available during the free time.

17. “ Camp fire sessions” Some of the retreats best work takes place around the campfire.

18. Sunday Activities – One session in the morning followed by time to reflect on the weekend’s activities.

19. The entire family is involved.

21. Daycare provided as necessary

22. Past participants come back and volunteer at retreats.
