Tax Mitigation
Begin letting employees know
that FSAs might go away.
Consider the impact of retiring
any Health Reimbursement
Arrangements (HSAs).
Evaluate the impact of ceasing
employer HSA contributions.
If allowing employees to
contribute to HSA's pre-tax via
your Section 125 plan, consider
if you would facilitate after-tax
contributions.
Make sure Dental & Vision
plans meet the definition of
Excepted.
Confirm if your payroll vendor
will prepare, distribute and
e-file these forms.
If they will not, hire a specialty
firm best suited for your
situation.
For self-funded plans, confirm
that dependent SSNs are
housed in your system. If not,
establish a plan to obtain them.

- Payroll & specialty
vendors will likely stop
taking new orders by late
summer.
- If you're not completing
W-2s by hand, why
complete these forms by
hand?
