Burn Unit ,[object Object],[object Object],During week four of rotations I was placed in the Heart Cath Lab. I was not exactly sure what happened in the Lab but was pleasantly suprised with my experience. I saw two stents placed in the coronary artery. It was a very interesting process and the staff did a great job of explaining to me what was happening. On the second day, I saw two more stents placed in two other patients. With the second patient, the doctor had a bit of trouble finding where a stent was needed and had some trouble placing the stent. This procedure took longer then expected because of those complications. All together the Heart Cath Lab was a very nice place to be.
