This document discusses EverGreen Agriculture as an approach to climate change resilience through integrating trees into agricultural systems. It provides examples of EverGreen Agriculture approaches being used in countries like Niger, Ethiopia, Zambia and Malawi to improve soil fertility, buffer microclimates, and double maize yields. Surveys found maize yields increased from 1.30 t/ha without fertilizer trees to 3.05 t/ha with fertilizer trees. The document concludes that EverGreen Agriculture is a climate-resilient approach that regenerates land health, enhances food security, and has been adopted by millions of smallholders across Africa.
