5. Do NOT fulfill prophecy by rejecting God's
work in Christ - 40-41
5. How Did People Respond?
That Sabbath:
– Many begged for more on the next Sabbath
– Many Jews followed Paul & Barnabas
Next Sabbath:
– Almost the whole city turned out
– Jews were envious
– Gentiles were glad & rejoiced
6. RESULT:
• The Word was spread!
• Paul & Barnabas persecuted and thrown out.
• They shook the dust off their feet and traveled
on their way REJOICING!
