19. Know Your Designer?
NIKITA KAKKAR
characterises her style by a harmony between authentic and
contemporary tastes.
She is equipped with resourcefulness and determination in all areas
of design and building process.
After graduating from Chandigarh college of Architecture with dual
degree in architecture as well as building science she began her
professional journey from Charged Voids leading multiple notable
projects encompassing the Residence 913 at Karnal and Residence
53 at Panchkula along with institutional and commercial projects
.Her work from there is published in the reputed ArchDaily,
Contemporary House II and Home & Design trends.
Moving to Bangalore she joined TESCO a UK based Company store
where she exceptionally leaded the operations team and was a lead
design architect.
In late 2018, She joined Capitalist Yard Group as Design Director.
She is also an active environmentalist who is enthusiastic about
garden balcony which are not only eye pleasing but also majorly
contribute in purifying the air you breathe at your home.
Glancing at the consumptive culture in Bangalore, her passion for
minimalism grew
