The metro system is SO clean and easy to use!

Street Shopping!
-Ladies Market
-Temple Street Market
-Central

FOOD!!!
-Fast Food – Even their fast food comes in huge
portions and is made fresh. SO good.
-Street Food – Smaller portions but costs the
equivalent of a nickel in US dollars! (I tried
seasoned tofu and horse!)
-Tea Time-

something sweet
(I had French
toast with peanut
butter and honey.

The culture is really influenced by traditional
Confucian values even though it’s more
westernized than Mainland China

There are two extremes:
Parts that are huge, extravagant, and affluent

And parts that show severe poverty

Often they even exist on the same street

Then I spent a day in Mainland China

Everything there is bigger, greyer, and more
spread apart
