Vision & Mission
Mission
“The Kposowa foundation strives to improve the quality of life for
the people of Sierra Leone, West Africa by raising funds to
support the reconstruction of a boarding school, provide clean
drinking water, and provide economically sustainable
  opportunities for the community.”
 Vision
“Change starts with just a thought. A single thought in the mind of a
dedicated individual can be the catalyst to motivate positive change in the
world. The Kposowa Foundation was started with the basic thought that
every child has the right to education. Education provides new ways of
thinking and knowledge, and it is through knowledge that people are able
to overcome and change their circumstances for the better. Ultimately we
envision a world where, through education and cooperation, the ills
of poverty, disease, and war have been eradicated in Sierra Leone!”
Goals
• Set clear and specific goals

• Break down goals into manageable pieces

• Example:
   – Total Cost for Boarding School reconstruction
      • Cost to build each classroom?
      • Cost for desks and chairs?
      • Cost for supplies?
Example from Build African Schools:
Here are some projects that you may consider sponsoring but any
amount that you send will be appreciated.
Build one school - $65,000
Build one class-room - $12,000
Teacher’s accommodation room - $12,000
Install Solar Power in a school - $6,800
Build bathrooms for boys and girls - $5,000
Build a kitchen - $3,000
Laptop computer - $800Desks/chairs - $50 each
School supplies - $50
Marketing & Branding
• Your Brand can be one of your greatest assets.

• What is the story you are telling?
    – A princess found?
    – ‘Our Story”

• How are you communicating this story and getting people
  engaged?

• Consistency is Key!
Where to go from here
• Kposowa vs. Bumpe: use one consistently

• Make use of and update social media sites

• Brand everything that comes out of the organization

• Update the Website
