The International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI) honors excellence in student research through its Distinguished Dissertation Awards. This year's awards will be presented at the ISPI Performance Improvement Conference on April 27, 2015 in San Antonio, Texas. The first place winner is Minjing Duan for her dissertation on applying action research to human performance technology. The second place winner is Carlos Antonio Viera for his dissertation on school counselors using data-driven decision making.
