I am currently a graduate in Architectural Technician at Sheridan College.
I am responsible for tackling all the problems a client may have and
always plans to serve them better. I am well versed in Auto-CAD, Revit,
Lumion, and SketchUp. I admire and share Raw Design‘s attitude
towards progressive thinking and continuous growth in Residential and
Commercial sector. I enjoy analyzing and designing process and projects
as well as creating project documentation to ensure all project activities
are accomplished. During my previous roles, I worked on residential and
commercial projects, conceptualized and sketched design plans,
selection of materials and completion of work within the given timeline
and in budget. As part of my previous role at Structures, I provided
support to the team by connecting with the client to know their style,
needs and budget.
As an architecture technician, I got hands-on experience in many
software’s such as 2D and 3D in AutoCAD and Revit as well as
rendering in Lumion. My technical expertise knowledge in Revit with
appropriate application of graphics standards to prepare working
drawings; fluency in OBC, construction methodology, materiality,
terminology, and practices. I also gained experience working at
Structures. Also known for outstanding client-facing skills. I even received
a 2nd place award in Sheridan school of Architectural Technology Skills
where I got an opportunity to showcase my Revit, designing skills and
problem-solving abilities. I designed a 2-storey Architect office, following
the OBC standards.
It would be a pleasure to learn more about architecture designs, and I
would welcome the chance to provide further insight into my knowledge
of project management, technical abilities, personal attributes and
guarantee company success and customer satisfaction. My ability to work
as a team and communicate my ideas to my colleagues, in addition to my

5. The City of Mississauga has proposed to design City of
Mississauga Fire Station located on 5320, Ninth line,
Mississauga. It is a single storey 3-truck fire station
which has an apparatus bay and special area for staff,
3 captains and 30 firefighters.
ZONING
Planning involves the core design where the walk
ways connects the apparatus bay on both the sides of
the building. Dorms, Kitchen, Dining, work stations
are placed on the north-east side of the building
whereas 3 captains room and gymnasium are placed
on the South-west side in order to get the proper
sunlight. Lounge is placed in the centre of the
building and has skylight. Washrooms and shower
area has the easy access and are placed in between
the main building and apparatus bay making sure it
does not affect the core of the building. Compressor,
workshop, storage room, electrical room, bunker room
and Janitor’s room are placed close to apparatus bay.
DESIGN CONCEPT
Talking about design the main agenda was to
create a simple but and innovative building
design. The main attraction is the apparatus bay
and the lounge area which is at the centre of the
building and has skylight that allows to enter
the natural sunlight and lighten up entire
building. The roof are of two different types. The
roof of the apparatus bay is the green roof and
that of main building is Single Ply roofing
membrane. The skylight on the centre of the roof
enhances the beauty of the building. The fire
station also contains outdoor play area or
recreational area for the staff, a beautiful
garden is also designed in it which gives a
pleasant look from the offices and play area.
Sidewalk is also provided alongside the building
and parking. Moreover, it has sustainable
features of green roof design, storm water
collecting system, geothermal system water-
source heat pump units, paver block in parking,
native landscape, low-flow plumbing fixtures,
and sensor lights.
SUSTAINABILTY
Green roof is designed which lowers the
quantity of stormwater runoff as well as the
time it takes for runoff to occur, putting less
strain on sewage systems during peak flow
periods. Using native landscape species which
preserve biodiversity. Each piece of habitat
becomes part of a communal effort to nourish
and preserve the living landscape for birds and
other animals by planting a native plant garden.
Low flow plumbing fixtures designed to achieve
water saving by having a low flow rater of water
or a smaller quantity of flus. Solar panel are
provided which generates its own electricity.
Lighting sensors for day light harvesting which
dims electric light or switch them off during the
day to take advantage of available sun. Using
