• Why don’t more MLM reps use the phone? One word. FEAR.
• Although most people talk on their phone at least 1-2 hours per day,
most MLM reps are scared to death to call their prospects, even if
they are people they already know. Why?
• The fear failure or they fear being rejected. Or, they fear what
others might think.
• The new rep doesn’t want to look dumb.
• Some people think this method is outdated or doesn’t work.
• The new person is distracted by the sexiness of the internet.
3. The Benefits of Using the Phone
• You can knock out more stuff in a two-minute phone call than you can
in hours texting back and forth with a prospect (or emailing them).
• When you chat with someone on the phone, you can hear their TONE
OF VOICE and you might even be able to figure out their body
language.
• Talking on the phone let’s you connect with the other person, more
so than if you were just texting or emailing.
• It’s easier and quicker to convey your ideas by phone.
• It’s much more efficient than other communication strategies (email,
text, Facebook, etc.)

7. My Favorite Phone Strategy
• Make a decision to call 10-20 prospects per day. If they answer their phone,
talk with them. If they are not home, leave a voicemail using the same
script.
• After you do that, send each person an email telling them to check their
answering machine. If you talked to them, just email the key points of your
conversation.
• If you do this, a couple things will happen. Most people will NOT call you
back, BUT the interested ones will. This lets you sift and sort and screen
your prospects.
• You could literally do this strategy in less than an hour a day. Do it five days
a week for a year and you will contact 2,600 to 5,200 prospects about your
business. With that many exposures, you can’t lose!
