2. Radio one has a range of ages that listen to their shows, as we are aiming our
documentary at 13-18 year olds we thought Radio One would be a good station to
air our documentary and reach our target audience.
From researching about Radio One they air a mixture of documentary topics from “
21st Century Mythologies to “ A Good Man In Rwanda” which appeals to a large
target audience. They have also done shows about Art in the UK, stories about
dancers and their lives, this is why we think Radio one will be the best station to air
our documentary.

3. • Radio Four has range of documentaries that it airs from “Is Wildlife In Decline” to
“Why Do Americans Love Their Flag”. They also have podcasts and series that they
air online.
• Even though Radio Four has a larger range of shows that go on air, the large
majority of the audience are older than the target audience we are aiming for.

4. • Capital is a popular with the target audience we’re aiming at, it plays
contemporary music that’s within the charts. However, it wouldn't be suitable for
promoting our documentary.
• The station doesn't play documentaries or series in the breaks, they mostly have
interviews with artists, competitions, play weekly games or music news from the
recent weeks.

5. • Free Radio is another station that is popular with our target audience but also a
range of ages. However, it wouldn't be suitable for promoting our documentary.

6. • Heart FM is another station that is popular with our target audience but also a
range of ages. However, it wouldn't be suitable for promoting our documentary.
