Background
Corporate Services by S&C Limited (CSSC) was registered
and domiciled on September 13, 2021 in Jamaica as a Non-
Financial Holding company that holds controlling interests
in Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) entities.
Our office is located at 25 Lyndale Avenue, Kingston 20.
The company also offers Corporate Services to its
subsidiaries which attracts a management fee. These
services are also offered at a rate for other business
customers.

Product Justification
Often, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are launched by
entrepreneur(s) who are not entirely equipped with the relevant corporate knowledge
to ensure 100% compliance with the Companies Act, Income Tax Act, Licenses on
Trades and Business Act among other applicable acts of parliament that is related to
their respective business and industry. The Registrar of Companies noted that the
Companies office of Jamaica on average removes three thousand (3000) registered
businesses and companies yearly due to delinquencies in filing and other
administrative obligation as per Section 121 of the Companies Act of 2004.
(Clearance!, 2021). The concept to create a services to fill this gap was developed.

Corporate Services by S&C Limited intends to use the single-market strategy while
operating in the market. CSSC will target all registered and unregistered companies and
businesses both locally and internationally. For Individual clients, we will target
persons who have ‘side hustles’ that are not registered but wish to pay the additional
statutory payments to increase their benefits, Jamaicans from the diaspora who wish to
conduct business in the Island and other individuals who require assistance to register
their company or business.

CSSC will have one central location where customer physical
files will be stored and in person confrontations were necessary.
Customers also have the option of meeting remotely or at a
location of their convenience. Customers will have the option as
well to have an over the phone consultation. CSSC will utilize
Zoom Premium subscription and Professional website to
communicate with customers while ensure their digital safety.
Where applicable, entities will be able to utilize bearers to drop
off and collect documents, cheques and conduct other transactions
of their behalf.

CSSC will target all registered and unregistered
businesses and companies both locally and
internationally. Individual clients will include those who
have 'side hustles' that are not registered but want to pay

benefits, Jamaicans from the diaspora who want to do

TARGET CUSTOMER
CSSC will apply the Cost Plus pricing method.
The initial price of the service (cost if the client
performed the service themselves) plus a service
fee. CSSC will also employ bundle pricing as a
supplementary pricing method, with clients
receiving a discount if they use our service for
more than two (2) product offers.
PRICING STRUCTURE
It is of great importance that CSSC seek to offer their service better or more cheaply
than its rivals. The services provided by CSSC are offered to individual clients who
may not be of a high net worth, which is a competitive advantage over their
competitors. Other factors that enable CSSC to have a competitive edge are:
•The systems that they put in place to detect glitches in delivering CSSC services which
might cause delays
•A CSSC team having a clear understanding of their roles and function in organization
which enable each person to use their tools and
Having the right partners that will assist in offering clients with accurate and quick
service: The partner with stakeholders such as Tax Administration Jamaica, Companies
Office of Jamaica, Department of Cooperative and Friendly Societies, Commercial
Banks and All Media Communication Platform goes a great deal in ensuring that CSSC
does have a competitive edge over their competitors.

● The diagram above shows that from the twenty (20) respondents, 11 (55%)
of them are registered, 4 (20%) of them unregistered and 5 (25%) are side
hustlers (not registered but wanting to pay the additional statutory
contributions to boost their benefits).
● Base on the questionnaire it can be seen that 1 respondent (5%) consider a
commercial operations service that uses a service convenience business model and gives
intangible value to its clients as Corporate Services by S&C (CSSC) believe it is
absolutely not necessary, 2 persons (10%) believe it is somewhat not necessary, No one
(0%) believe it is neither necessary or not, 8 persons (40%) believe that it is somewhat
necessary and 9 persons (45%) believing that it is absolutely necessary for a service
organization that simplifies things for the consumer in comparison to industry standard.
● The questionnaire helps to show that 18 (90%) of the respondents believes that
a service convenience model that is hybrid of the service and the customer convenience
model like what Corporate Services by S&C (CSSC) is offering is appealing while 2
(10%) of the respondents believe that it is not appealing.
● The questionnaire reveals that 9 (45%) of the respondents would prefer to utilizing
the cost-plus pricing structure and 11 (55%) of the respondents would prefer bundle
pricing (that facilitates a supplementary pricing method).
● The questionnaire reveals that 13 (65%) of the respondents would be willing to
become a customer if Corporate Services by S&C (CSSC) is offering service that gives
intangible value to its clients and that simplifies things for the consumer in comparison to
industry standard, 2 (10%) of the respondents are not willing to become a member and 5
(25%) of the members say that maybe they would become a member.
● The questionnaire reveals that 17 (85%) of the respondents believe that there is
market out there to sustain and run a business such as the one which Corporate Services
by S&C (CSSC) is offering for the long-run and 3 (15%) of the respondents believe the
market is not there.

Background Corporate Services by S&C Limited (CSSC) was registered and domiciled on September 13, 2021 in Jamaica as a Non- Financial Holding company that holds controlling interests in Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) entities. Our office is located at 25 Lyndale Avenue, Kingston 20. The company also offers Corporate Services to its subsidiaries which attracts a management fee. These services are also offered at a rate for other business customers.

Product Justification Often, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are launched by entrepreneur(s) who are not entirely equipped with the relevant corporate knowledge to ensure 100% compliance with the Companies Act, Income Tax Act, Licenses on Trades and Business Act among other applicable acts of parliament that is related to their respective business and industry. The Registrar of Companies noted that the Companies office of Jamaica on average removes three thousand (3000) registered businesses and companies yearly due to delinquencies in filing and other administrative obligation as per Section 121 of the Companies Act of 2004. (Clearance!, 2021). The concept to create a services to fill this gap was developed. PRODUCT

Product Offering The Corporate Services by S&C Limited will offer an array of services to its business clients: * Company Secretarial Services * Annual Filings with Companies Office, Tax Administration of Jamaica & Department of Cooperative And Friendly Societies *Tax Filing with the Tax Administration of Jamaica * Data Entry services *Legal Documentation drafting (Contracts et al) *Bookkeeping *Financial Management Report PRODUCT

  • 17. Corporate Services by S&C Limited intends to use the single-market strategy while operating in the market. CSSC will target all registered and unregistered companies and businesses both locally and internationally. For Individual clients, we will target persons who have ‘side hustles’ that are not registered but wish to pay the additional statutory payments to increase their benefits, Jamaicans from the diaspora who wish to conduct business in the Island and other individuals who require assistance to register their company or business.   • 22. CSSC will have one central location where customer physical files will be stored and in person confrontations were necessary. Customers also have the option of meeting remotely or at a location of their convenience. Customers will have the option as well to have an over the phone consultation. CSSC will utilize Zoom Premium subscription and Professional website to communicate with customers while ensure their digital safety. Where applicable, entities will be able to utilize bearers to drop off and collect documents, cheques and conduct other transactions of their behalf. INTERFACE
  • 23. CSSC will target all registered and unregistered businesses and companies both locally and internationally. Individual clients will include those who have 'side hustles' that are not registered but want to pay the additional statutory contributions to boost their benefits, Jamaicans from the diaspora who want to do business on the island, and others who need help registering their corporation or business.   • 24. CSSC will apply the Cost Plus pricing method. The initial price of the service (cost if the client performed the service themselves) plus a service fee. CSSC will also employ bundle pricing as a supplementary pricing method, with clients receiving a discount if they use our service for more than two (2) product offers. PRICING STRUCTURE
  • 25. It is of great importance that CSSC seek to offer their service better or more cheaply than its rivals. The services provided by CSSC are offered to individual clients who may not be of a high net worth, which is a competitive advantage over their competitors. Other factors that enable CSSC to have a competitive edge are: •The systems that they put in place to detect glitches in delivering CSSC services which might cause delays •A CSSC team having a clear understanding of their roles and function in organization which enable each person to use their tools and Having the right partners that will assist in offering clients with accurate and quick service: The partner with stakeholders such as Tax Administration Jamaica, Companies Office of Jamaica, Department of Cooperative and Friendly Societies, Commercial Banks and All Media Communication Platform goes a great deal in ensuring that CSSC does have a competitive edge over their competitors.   • 27. ● The diagram above shows that from the twenty (20) respondents, 11 (55%) of them are registered, 4 (20%) of them unregistered and 5 (25%) are side hustlers (not registered but wanting to pay the additional statutory contributions to boost their benefits).
  • 28. ● Base on the questionnaire it can be seen that 1 respondent (5%) consider a commercial operations service that uses a service convenience business model and gives intangible value to its clients as Corporate Services by S&C (CSSC) believe it is absolutely not necessary, 2 persons (10%) believe it is somewhat not necessary, No one (0%) believe it is neither necessary or not, 8 persons (40%) believe that it is somewhat necessary and 9 persons (45%) believing that it is absolutely necessary for a service organization that simplifies things for the consumer in comparison to industry standard.
  • 29. ● The questionnaire helps to show that 18 (90%) of the respondents believes that a service convenience model that is hybrid of the service and the customer convenience model like what Corporate Services by S&C (CSSC) is offering is appealing while 2 (10%) of the respondents believe that it is not appealing.
  • 30. ● The questionnaire reveals that 9 (45%) of the respondents would prefer to utilizing the cost-plus pricing structure and 11 (55%) of the respondents would prefer bundle pricing (that facilitates a supplementary pricing method).
  • 31. ● The questionnaire reveals that 13 (65%) of the respondents would be willing to become a customer if Corporate Services by S&C (CSSC) is offering service that gives intangible value to its clients and that simplifies things for the consumer in comparison to industry standard, 2 (10%) of the respondents are not willing to become a member and 5 (25%) of the members say that maybe they would become a member.
  • 32. ● The questionnaire reveals that 17 (85%) of the respondents believe that there is market out there to sustain and run a business such as the one which Corporate Services by S&C (CSSC) is offering for the long-run and 3 (15%) of the respondents believe the market is not there.

  1. Basis of differentiation Upon market research, it was observed that there are a few competitors that are operating within the market with success. PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) is an Auditing and Tax Consulting service provider to corporate entities within the Caribbean. They offer corporate services to larger corporations. Corporate Services Associates is also a similar entity that offers Human Resource Management services, Business Process Management and Learning and Development services. CSSC’s product, although vividly similar to the two (2) major competitors, will however offer services to individual clients who may not be of a high net worth, which is a competitive advantage over the competition identified. Coupled with this, our customer focused culture will ensure that customers are easily paired with representatives who will build personalized relationships in order to efficiently be effective at the jobs being contracted for.
