Maqsood O' dHAKA is a prominent jazz-rock
fusion band in Bangladesh, which was formed
by Maqsoodul Haque (Mac) in 1996.

Maqsood O' dHAKA

The band formed in 1979.
Their first album, Miles, was released in 1982,
including five original songs and seven cover
songs. Their second album, A Step Farther was
released in 1986 and it consisted of 7 original
and 5 cover songs. Their first Bengali
album, Protisruti, was released in 1991. It
included 12 original Bengali songs. Their second
Bengali album, Prottasha, was released in 1993.
In 1994, the first CD of the band was released
as Best of Miles.

Feedback is a Bangladeshi rock band, formed in
the month of October 1977 in Dhaka by
keyboardist Foad Nasser Babu. Multiple lineup
changes have taken place in membership since
1976. They have released seven studio albums
and have also appeared in some compilations.

Dalchhut
The band Dalchhut ( দলছ
ু ট in Bengali) was
founded when Sanjeeb Da met Bappa
Mazumder at a local market in Dhaka in 1993.
Bappa met Sanjeeb Da through his mentor
Hasan Abedin Jewel. Bappa and Sanjeeb Da
began to work together when Bappa asked
Sanjeeb Da to work on his solo album. Sanjeeb
Da wrote a number of songs including “Rani
Ghumay”, “Chokkhu Khule Dekho” and
“Hattimatimtim” for Bappa’s inaugural solo
album.

Pentagon
Pentagon was formed by Mohammad Ali
Sumon, Shouquat Ali Imon, Ranjan, Shelly, and
Babu in 1993. They got together on the 13th of
October 1993 and named the band Pentagon
with a desperate pledge to come up with some
sophisticated creation.
