STRUCK BY According to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), “Struck-by” is defined as: injuries produced by forcible contact or impact between the injured person and an object or piece of equipment. Struck-by hazards are one of four most deadly hazards in the construction industry, accounting for around 10% of all industry fatalities.
  6. CAUGHT IN According to OSHA, caught-in between hazards are defined as: Injuries resulting from a person being squeezed, caught, crushed, pinched, or compressed between two or more objects, or between parts of an object.
