  • Just got my check for $500, Sometimes people don't believe me when I tell them about how much you can make taking paid surveys online... So I took a video of myself actually getting paid $500 for paid surveys to finally set the record straight. I'm not going to leave this video up for long, so check it out now before I take it down!  https://tinyurl.com/realmoneystreams2019

Collaboration Pipeline Customer Case Study

  1. 1. © 2014 Cisco and/or its affiliates. All rights reserved. 1 Embracing diversity Explorer Pipeline is expanding, adding more people, more sites, and more customers. Many employees live far from the closest regional office, and it’s more efficient for them to work from a pump station, a field location, or their home office. “We have employees all over the country,” says Greg Wagnon, network consultant for Explorer Pipeline. “We wanted to empower them to work and engage from wherever they are.” Interviewing job candidates or employee training activities usually involved traveling to or from Explorer Pipeline’s Tulsa headquarters, or settling for a phone call. Company meetings were often streamed to field locations, offering little opportunity for remote workers to participate. “Traditional communications didn’t allow us to leverage the diversity within our organization and bring everyone together,” says Todd Golla, director of Explorer Pipeline IT. “We wanted to make employee communication more of a conversation, instead of a one-way broadcast.” To unify a distributed workforce, Explorer Pipeline used Cisco® Collaboration tools to remove barriers and improve productivity. “Our Cisco Collaboration toolset raises the level of engagement among colleagues. We feel more connected.” - Todd Golla, Director of IT, Explorer Pipeline Moving fuel from the U.S. Gulf Coast to the Midwest takes 1830 miles of pipeline. Employees need to collaborate to be productive from wherever they are along the pipeline. Bringing employees together to increase productivity “The telephone is not the same as face-to-face collaboration,” says Golla. “Our employees benefit from a more personal connection, and we can solve problems quickly without flying people around.” The results? Increased productivity and the potential to reduce travel costs. Supporting an innovative recruiting process Job candidates can be interviewed remotely using voice and video, allowing interviewers to better assess candidates’ personalities and skills. “We often conduct panel interviews with multiple people, and we use videoconferencing to save travel time and costs,” says Angel Stacy, Explorer Pipeline director of human resources and administration. “We can schedule interviews faster and be more flexible, increasing speed to hire, and everyone feels like they are in the same room together.” Sharing knowledge effectively New employees can get up to speed quickly; and knowledge travels faster throughout the organization. Enabling all employees to participate Board meetings and safety meetings are no longer one-way for remote employees. Everyone is able to engage. Removing barriers to seamless collaboration Collaboration tools are integrated with desk phones, soft phones, and Microsoft Outlook. Meetings can be scheduled and connections made with just a few clicks, easily shifting from one medium to another. • Deployed integrated voice and video using Cisco Collaboration and TelePresence® tools • Unified collaboration toolset with Cisco Unified Communications solutions Solutions
