 By now you should have your 30-second elevator speech so you can concisely
communicate your career goals and relevant experience to recruiters. Practice this a
few times if you’re still a bit shaky.
 Talk to as many employers as you can. Don’t just concentrate on well-known
companies. Expand your experience to employers that you may not be as familiar
with. You have nothing to lose and may be surprised at what you find.
 Be positive. Yes you’re probably nervous, but a smile and a firm handshake go a long
way. Smile and offer your hand when you introduce yourself.

Practice this a few times if you’re still a bit shaky.  Talk to as many employers as you can. Don’t just concentrate on well-known companies. Expand your experience to employers that you may not be as familiar with. You have nothing to lose and may be surprised at what you find.  Be positive. Yes you’re probably nervous, but a smile and a firm handshake go a long way. Smile and offer your hand when you introduce yourself. Cell Phone Charging Station Forgot to charge your cell phone? Just check in with our registration desk for charging. 10:15am-10:45am, What You Need to Know About Your Security Clearance Reinvestigation Nicole Smith is an attorney and security clearance specialist with Tully Rinckey, as well as a former security clearance investigator. Nicole will discuss what you should be aware of, what you should think about, and what you may need to do before your next reinvestigation. 11am-3pm, Resume Reviews These are quick 5 minute sessions where a job seeker can review their resume directly with HR Strategist Patra Frame. We offer these sessions on a first-come, first-serve basis and they fill up fast.
